Overview
This policy applies to consulting engagements booked with Rosewood Path Business Advisory: Office Workflow Assessments, Process Mapping Sessions, Staff Handover Documentation, and Quarterly Review Retainers.
Pricing on this website is informational. Refund terms in your signed proposal take precedence if they differ; otherwise this policy applies.
Cancellation by client
More than 14 days before scheduled start: Full deposit refund minus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
7–14 days before scheduled start: 50% of deposit refunded; remaining 50% retained for scheduling costs and reserved calendar time.
Less than 7 days before scheduled start: Deposit non-refundable. You may reschedule once without additional deposit if new dates are agreed within 30 days.
After on-site work has begun: Fees for completed days and delivered draft materials are non-refundable. Remaining balance may be adjusted if scope is mutually reduced in writing.
Rescheduling
One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 7 days before the original start date and if replacement dates are available within 60 days. Additional reschedules incur NT$3,000 administrative fee per occurrence.
Filing-season reschedules (January or July for tax-related engagements) are subject to availability; we will offer the nearest feasible dates but cannot guarantee peak-season slots.
Cancellation by Rosewood Path
If we cancel due to illness, emergency, or scheduling conflict, you receive a full deposit refund or priority rebooking at your choice. We are not liable for consequential costs beyond deposit refund.
Process mapping sessions
Full payment is due one week before the workshop. Cancellation more than 7 days before: full refund. Cancellation within 7 days: 50% refund. No-show on workshop day: no refund.
Quarterly retainers
Each quarter is invoiced at the start of the period. Cancellation of future quarters requires 14 days’ written notice before the next quarter start date. Current quarter fees are non-refundable once the scheduled visit occurs. Unused visits may be rescheduled within the same quarter if cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
No-shows
If our consultant arrives on-site and key staff or partners are unavailable without prior notice, the visit is charged as completed. A replacement visit requires new scheduling and may incur additional fees.
Non-refundable items
- Completed on-site days and delivered written reports
- Custom templates or checklists already transferred to you
- Travel costs incurred for southern Taiwan visits when cancellation occurs within 7 days
- Administrative fees for repeated rescheduling
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method (bank transfer) within 14 business days of written approval. Bank fees may be deducted where applicable.
Deposits
Standard deposit: 40% for assessments and handover projects. Deposits reserve calendar time and cover preparation. Deposit terms appear in your proposal.
Work already started
If you terminate an engagement after interviews or drafts begin, you pay for work completed to date based on the proposal fee schedule or proportional daily rate, whichever is stated in your agreement.
Purchased materials
We do not sell physical products through this site. If third-party printing or binding is arranged on your behalf, those costs are non-refundable once ordered.
